Pelvic Organ Prolapse (POP)

This is a protrusion at or near the vaginal opening. There are many types of prolapses with  uterine prolapse (the uterus is falling down), cystocele ( the bladder is falling down) or rectocele (the rectum is falling down) being the most common.

Treatment can involve education regarding the condition, exercise, lifestyle modification and perhaps the use of a pessary.
